Cup Day

Cup Day for many is a great ride opportunity for many with most of Metro Melbourne taking the day off.  Cup Day also is an unoffical marker to start getting really serious about training for Alpine Classic.  I have been getting in some hills over October but looking to up my monthly milage in November and sustain that through to the New Year.  Low traffic early in the morning had numerous ride options coming my way.  One group doing the Dandenongs, one doing a ride into the city with a big breakfast on offer and another group doing Warrandyte-Smith Gully loop.  This was the ride option I ended up taking.
It started off with the two youngest in the trailer.  The baby was trying to workout why this thing on her head felt so weird.
So then it was laps of Monty with various combinations of offspring in and out of the trailer.  The tractor used in this case was my wife's Giant Yukon.  This is did the job well.  The baby is well on the way to being another bike lover!
Lots of family riding to be had this summer!
