Attitude-does it make a difference?

Many in the human resources industry have said that your attitude can make or break a company.  John Maxwell makes the point that your attitude can make or break your family.  Cloud & Townsend have stated your attitudes can make or break a marriage.  So why does attitude make a difference?  Is it jus the power of positive thinking?  Or does the energy spend on changing our attitude actually start to change our experience of our circumstances?  The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians makes a big deal of this seemingly little idea of attitude.  Paul certainly knew what painful and uncomfortable circumstances looked like.  Many times he ended up in a cold prison cell, bleeding and bruised after a day of beatings.  What Paul did realise that his greatest tool to witness the message of Christ was his attitude to such circumstances.
